Make SIP Calls from your mobile using FRING

We have been asked by many customers if the can setup their mobile phones to make SIP calls. The answer we have given them has been both yes and no. The main UK operators don’t really like the idea of voip/sip calls being made from your mobile handset. If you have received a mobile phone from your chosen supplier then chances are that the firmware has been altered in some way and that the ability to use the inbuilt internet phone application has been removed.

Using Perl API to generate PDF files – PDF::API2

At Packnet, one of our systems has to generate invoices that should be sending to customers on a monthly basis. The system was written mainly in Perl – so we decided to use some Perl library from CPAN to generate these invoices. After considering a couple of modules, we found that PDF::API2 is one of the most popular and feature-rich module available for this purpose.
