Telephony firm Tellumat Communication Solutions has put pen to paper on a distribution arrangement with Canada-based Phybridge, the VoIP client premises equipment manufacturer. Midaire LLC has announced the release of its latest telecommunications service. BackFlip, which caters mainly for SMBs, enables commercial clients to use IP telephony without having to change any of their existing equipment. The company’s senior partner, Michael LeBrun, said that the product allows customers to save money without investing in new hardware.

Business VoIP provider Broadvox has announced that it is releasing a new cloud-based collaboration and voice service. The new offering, Hosted Communications, will see the integration of phone, fax, IM, and video to allow better connection between business clients, customers and employees. The services can be accessed through a number of platforms, including IP desk phone, Mac, PC, and smartphone.

Ekinops, an Israel-based supplier and designer of next-gen optical equipment, along with its partner, Rotal Networks, has provided telecommunications company Bezeq with Ekinops 360, its high-end optical transport platform. It is thought that Bezeq will use the product’s optical performance to increase the capacity of its fibre network.
