Global business VoIP (voice over internet protocol) and internet protocol (IP) telephony handset manufacturer and distributor, snom, has been handed a top industry award for its family of desktop models – the 7xx range.
The award – for Internet Telephony Magazine Product of the Year – was given to snom by the magazine’s publishing company, TMC, in recognition of the 7xx range’s provision of quality progress in the field of enterprise communications.
It is the second year running that the 7xx range has been presented with this particular award from TMC, and the publisher’s chief executive officer, Rich Tehrani, commended snom for its prestigious achievement, saying:
“It is with pleasure that we recognise snom with a Product of the Year Award. The editors of Internet Telephony have verified that 7xx series displays quality and innovation while providing solutions to real business communications challenges. I would like to congratulate the team at snom for their commitment to advancing IP communication technologies.”
Commenting on being honoured to have received the award from TMC, snom technology AG’s chief operating officer, Michael Knieling, offered his view of just one reason why, with the 7xx range, the judges had decided to recognise snom for the Product of the Year for the second year in succession. He said:
“Our introduction of the snom 710 in September rounded out the series with a dynamic entry-level business phone and…adds versatility for resellers and businesses.”
In addition, each of the 7xx models has been actively promoted by snom as boasting a high degree of ergonomic construction, a user-friendly control panel, high level voice quality reception potential, and fully customisable function buttons.
As well as the 710, the snom 7xx range also features the snom 720 and 760 IP telephony phones – the latter two models designed for higher level executives and those with more specialist communications handling needs.
