The yearly ‘SIP Network Operators Conference’, hosted by the SIP Forum, will take place in only a few weeks’ time and will offer key networking and educational opportunities for technical personnel from telecom service providers.
Among the main topics of agenda will be security and SIP trunking. The conference, which will last for three days, will be held at in Vermont at Herndon’s Hyatt Dulles Hotel. The one-of-a-kind conference is for telecom stakeholders throughout the world, responsible for deploying ongoing operation and management of SIP services among service provider networks.
The preliminary schedule for the conference features panels, speeches, and presentations by leading worldwide broadband and service provider representatives, as well as those representing academic researchers and government officials. Speakers will look into critical challenges in the real world that relate to SIP infrastructure and applications, including SIP trunking, application development, network security, monitoring and troubleshooting, emergency services, call peering and routing, IPv6 and testing.
Managing Director and President of the Forum, Marc Robins, said:
“This year’s conference agenda is not only designed to build on the education provided during the last two events, but to also focus on some of the most recent trends prevalent in the IP communications industry. By continuing to leverage some of the brightest technical minds in the industry, together with the rigorous review process we follow to select content, SIPNOC conferees are assured that the presentations will be insightful and highly educational.”
Among the attendees will be key backbone operators, telecommunications providers, ISPs, wholesale and interconnect solution providers, cable operators and people representing enterprises that deploy key SIP initiatives. Although the global service provider and carrier community is the conference’s main audience, industry stakeholders with a role to play in key SIP initiatives have been asked to attend as well.
The conference is scheduled for April 22 – 25.
